My teaching philosophy focuses on the development of critical thinking, logical reasoning, and clarity of expression. I place a particular emphasis on object-led approaches in my teaching, giving students the opportunity to work at museums and encounter medieval manuscripts ‘in the flesh’ in libraries. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
I have over 10 years of experience teaching undergraduates and postgraduates in English Literature and Culture at the University of Oxford (Lady Margaret Hall, Christ Church, Trinity College, Corpus Christi College, Lincoln College, St Edmund Hall) and LMU University of Munich. I also regularly teach Visiting Students at the University of Oxford.
